atlantic city

i went to Atlantic city last summer ...... took me long enough huh

brandywine barn

its funny
some of the most forgotten places
are in plane sight
i literally pass this barn everyday
its less than a mile from my house but untill a month ago i never noticed it

i really dont know what the story with this one is
its a beautiful property
with a pond a barn and a beautiful old house
the barn is an avian paradise
close to fifty barn swallows in the bottom
and two large pidgins up top
check one more location off the list

To Whom It May Concern and those that had no faith

In my time of unemployment

i have been to Texas twice
i have been to New York city
i have been to North Carolina
i have been to buffalo and Niagara falls
i have been to Massachusetts and Vermont
i have been to Atlantic city for a weekend
and this week ill go back to North Carolina to the outer banks
i have become a better photographer and graphic designer
i have made church tracts huge banners and done engagement photos
i have been to car shows, aquariums, and old forgotten prisons
i have been in the weddings of two close friends
i have ignored the signs in abandoned buildings and seen things most men never see
i have seen the Christmas lights in Philly and swam in lakes that froze my bones
i have stood stop frozen mountains i have had the sand between my toes
i have made some friends and lost some and made some friendships stronger
and now I will take this new step it scares me but that's a good thing
so all of you who said i was wrong to everyone who "warned" my girl friend
to everyone that talked about me behind my back
and to those that have and will slander the choices im about to make.
i ask this
what have YOU done in the last six months
and what have YOU done for your future

to those that have helped me see these things
to my partners in crime
to the friends and family that have supported me
even though it didnt make sense
thank you and i love you
